Why River? River was my first celebrity crush. I saw him in “Stand by Me” and felt in love. I used to have posters on my bedroom’s wall, pictures of him in my school’s notepaper, it was a hysterical love. River wasn’t only a gorgeous guy, he also was a terrific actor, with powerful performances. And has a personality that I really enjoyed. His death was tragic for all his fans, me included, and my heart hurts until today. I’m planning to do this memorial site for a long long time (instead Keanu Reeves, it should be a River Phoenix one my very first fansite), but I never knew how to do it. Than Roberta asked me to join in this project, which I’ve accepted, and we’re working in the background to make a good resource to celebrate River’s memory.

Why Winona? Winona Ryder is my all time favorite actress. I love her since the 80′s, when every teenage girl wanted to be Winona Ryder. I wasn’t different. Winona is a very good actress, gorgeous to death, have a great personality, is known for being nice with everyone. Even with her personal issues the admiration I have didn’t fade. Unfortunately, her promising career never was the same, but I’m glad a have a place where fans can find news, pictures, and chat with other Noni fans.

Why Damon? I have a thing for vampire histories, and I use to like the ‘bad boys’ (or the misunderstood, if we’re talking about Damon). I like the “Vampire Diaries” series for a long time, and I just enjoy so much the tv show, I think Ian is perfect as Damon Salvatore and can’t imagine any other to portrait him. When the show started, we had a boom of Ian Somerhalder sites, but with this huge lack of Damon information, which started to bug me. So I decided to open my own Damon shrine. It was planned to be a Damon-centric fansite, with just a few information on Ian, but then Jenny joined me on the project and she’s this insane Ian fan and the site ended like a big resource to both, human and vampire. I’m very proud of it because the site is very complete. And it was awesome to me because I could know Ian better (I used to know him for Lost, Smallville and TVD only) and enjoy not only his work, but his amazing personality.

Why James? James is a legend. I always was captivated by his image, the rebellious aura that came with him since his death. From all Golden Era actors, he’s my favorite, and when Fan Sites Network started a project to do mini sites to old Hollywood actors, I choose Jimmy to do my tribute.

Why Zach? Because he’s the most adorable person in the whole world. Seriously. Take a minute to watch any of his interviews. Adorable is the word. He’s also a very gifted actor, the camera loves him. I don’t have any fear to tell that Heroes just last for 4 seasons because of his Sylar… the most captivating and amazing villain. I’ve discovered Zach when Heroes started, and started following everything related to him, and when Michelle put this site for adoption, It needed to be mine.

Why Keanu? This was my first website ever. I did it in Portuguese, a long time ago, because I wanted to make an appreciation site dedicated to Keanu. I have this big crush on him that makes me admire him since I was a teenager. I watch (and love) every single piece of work he does. He did some of my all time favorite movies (My Own Private Idaho), he shared the screen with two of my favorite actresses (Sandra and Winona), he has the most pretty eyes of the whole world. He’s also such a gentleman, humble and down to earth.

Why Alex? Alexander can get you fooled. You may think people loves him because his good looks. Which, of course, helps, because Alex is a very (VERY) handsome man. But he’s not only a pretty face, at all. He’s an AMAZING actor (I think it’s genetic, btw), and can give pretty much everything a character needs. Also his sense of humanity (he shares his own image to help various charity projects), his humble, his good manners talking with press and fans makes him even more special. I first noticed him (as I think mostly the whole world outside Sweden) in “Generation Kill”. I’ve start looking to his career, watching some movies he did, when he was cast to portrait one of my favorite characters of all time, Eric Northman. Nothing more needs to be said. When Mel decided to put this site up for adoption, she asked me directly, because she knew I would love to take care of it. And I do!

Why Sandra? Because Sandra is amazing. She’s funny, she’s smart, she’s down to heart, she’s adorable. She has the most incredible and funny movies, we look at her wanting to give her a big hug. She make us smile, she make us cry… and I can be here talking about her forever. I always wanted a site on Sandra, but since she has a big career, it would be hard to start by myself. I used to be an anonymous helper on this site, and than Hayley asked me to officially join her as co-web. Some time before, she gave me the site and I’m the proud owner since then.

Why Neve? A total lack of Neve news compelled me to open this website. I always liked Neve and used to be a lot of work finding news on her, so I’ve started a ‘news blog’. But her personality is so amazing, that more I read about her more I wanted to do a full site, which I did. I’ve started reading/watching interviews, and watching her other works, and was just glad with myself for starting the site, because it’s a joy working on it. She also has the most incredible fans so it’s fun in either way.
