Why River? River was my first celebrity crush. I saw him in “Stand by Me” and felt in love. I used to have posters on my bedroom’s wall, pictures of him in my school’s notepaper, it was a hysterical love. River wasn’t only a gorgeous guy, he also was a terrific actor, with powerful performances. And has a personality that I really enjoyed. His death was tragic for all his fans, me included, and my heart hurts until today. I’m planning to do this memorial site for a long long time (instead Keanu Reeves, it should be a River Phoenix one my very first fansite), but I never knew how to do it. Than Roberta asked me to join in this project, which I’ve accepted, and we’re working in the background to make a good resource to celebrate River’s memory.
